Hello ! J'ai fait un cursus universitaire classique, Licence (BSc.) puis Master (MSc.) en biologie, je suis actuellement en toute fin de thèse (PhD) dans un laboratoire de Toulouse :) C'est vrai que les scientifiques ne sont pas nombreux ici, contrairement à flickR ou 500px par exemple, où pas mal d'entre eux partagent leurs clichés !

Wow, ça fait des années d'études ça. Moi je suis plus capable, à bientôt 22 ans, après ma formation là faut que je travaille, et sur le terrain. Parce qu'après les deux ans de théorie en BTA GFS, j'en peux vraiment plus de l'école, je déteste le système scolaire, je préfère apprendre sur le terrain avec les "maitres" directement. Une chose bien oubliée aujourd'hui... Enfin bref, heureux de te rencontré! Et c'est quoi tes "travaux" si je puis dire?

Oui le cursus de recherche est très long, généralement 8 ans après le bac plus 2 à 4 ans après la thèse avant de trouver un poste... mais honnêtement, à partir de la thèse, ce n'est plus scolaire du tout, c'est déjà du travail de chercheur !

Je travaille principalement sur l'écologie et l'évolution des espèces, je m'intéresse aux assemblages d'espèces donc en résumé, pourquoi à un endroit donné on trouve tel lot d'espèce et pas un autre, pourquoi il y a des endroits avec beaucoup d'espèces et d'autres avec peu d'espèces, est-ce que ces espèces viennent de plusieurs endroits ou sont-elles apparues sur place, etc etc :) Mon modèle d'étude c'est trois genres d'araignées et je travaille principalement sur les archipels tropicaux, c'est pratique parce qu'on connaît l'âge des îles et qu'il y a généralement ni trop ni trop peu d'espèces :) Tu aimerais travailler dans quel domaine ?
